We'll Be A Dream by We The Kings ft. Demi Lovato

My cousin, Mark Julius, made me listen to this song and I really loved it! Cheers to We The Kings and Demi Lovato!

The lyrics is so awesome. It is very meaningful that's why I so love it. Teaches me about something. Well, I added it:

Do you remember the nights
We'd stay up just laughing
Smiling for hours
At anything
Remember the nights
We drove around crazy in love

When the lights go out
We'll be safe and sound
We'll take control of the world
Like it's all we have to hold on to
And we'll be a dream

Do you remember the nights
We made our way dreaming
Hoping of being
Someone big
We were so young then
We were too crazy
In love

When the lights go out
We'll be safe and sound
We'll take control of the world
Like it's all we have to hold on to
And we'll be a dream

Whoa whoa
Whoa
Whoa, oh

When the lights go out
We'll be safe and sound
We'll take control of the world
Like it's all we have to hold on to
And we'll be

When the lights go out
We'll be safe and sound We'll take control of the world
Like it's all we have to hold on to
And we'll be a dream.

I've always loved Demi Lovato since Camp Rock. Now, I love WE THE KINGS! Awesome vocals, drums and guitar! Ahhhhh!

Plus, this song was one of The Vampire Diaries' soundtrack. I love this song! Got a new LSS case. haha

500 Days Of Summer: Do you believe in fate? ♥

I was so touched when I watched 500 Days Of Summer even though Tom and Summer didn't made it til the end :)

I feel so sad about what happened in this movie especially for Tom who didn't clearly understand why Summer broke up with him and the times when his mind trail back to the times when he was with her.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Tom Hansen. Not much of a handsome guy but very good in acting. Heart-felt!

Zooey Deschannel as Summer Finn. So cute here! Love her!

She looks like Katy Perry!

The two of them have had been to plenty of movies and yes, they're very good. 500 Days of Summer really deserved that standing ovation in the 2009 Sundance Festival.

Things I've learned from this movie:
1) Don't get sucked up when someone left you (like what happened with Tom). Instead, fulfill the dreams that person taught you so that one day when you see each other again, he/she will be proud of you.
2) Don't ever say that you'll never be in love (like what happened to Summer)
3) Explain why you broke up with him (don't be like Summer! hahaha)
4) Never disregard the belief of FATE because no matter how heartbroken you are, someone will come like when Tom met Autumn in the end :)

So, i do hope you have watched this movie because you'll surely learn a lot! <3

We've got a Science project in ENGLISH ;)

It's kinda weird to have an 'ala-Science Investigatory' project for English. But we can never prevent the inevitable. hahaha. It's about making a paper out of Banana leaves. Kind of a pressure because it has to be submitted on March 1(tuesday!) So, co-ESEPs if you can't quite understand the instructions in the book, CLICK HERE ;) for further infos. I think it's quite clear because it has a step-by-step instruction. Well, then GOODLUCK everyone!

And remember, BANANA LEAVES are to be used including the STALK(the middle part that supports the leaves)

;) Goodluck, once again!

Caroline sings Eternal Flame :)

You wouldn't know how much frustrated I was that Vampire Diaries will be gone for another month. April 7 -- that's a long time :( Plus, Isobel's back. Oh, that selfish mother of Elena's! And Matt and Caroline aren't for good because Jonas tried to kill him and Caroline has to let Matt suck her blood to keep him from dying which leads to Caroline telling him the truth. And he's afraid and he wouldn't listen to her because he thinks Caroline is the one responsible for Vicki's death. UGH!

But, the only good thing tonight was this:

Caroline sings Eternal Flame here to express how much she loves Matt. She has good voice. Super! I just don't know if it really is her voice and i do hope so! So sweet! I came to appreciating Eternal Flame because of her! Awwww.

I do hope that everything will be settled for Caroline and Matt. I don't want her ending up with that scum coward dog, Tyler.

Florante at Laura

Fourth quarter is always the busiest and stressful part of high school. Instead of just reviewing for our examinations, we've got loads of projects to submit. And the hardest of them all is our Filipino project.

We have to write it's summary using Tungol's version of Florante at Laura. Then, using Monleon's version, we have to get five examples each for the given five types of tayutay (figures of speech). And we have to write down ONE-HUNDRED words with their conotative and denotative meaning. And remember, it was all to be HAND-written.

I found this project a bit boring since I have to copy it all down. But what else to do? Do as what you are told to get what you want. Well, alrighty, instead of blabbing about it, I just need to focus and finish it.

As what Czam says: GO, ME! :D :D

127 Hours.

Ever experience crying because of a movie trailer? Well, I have. I really cried when I watched 127 Hour's trailer. Very touching and very inspiring.

127 Hours is a 2010 biographical adventure film produced, co-written and directed by Danny Boyle. The film stars James Franco as real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston, who became trapped by a boulder in Robbers Roost, Utah, for more than five days in early 2003 before amputating his arm with a dull knife.

I watched this with my brothers and we were like very excited on everything that might happen. We all know that it is very possible that he would drink/eat anything because he's been trapped there for 5 days or so. The drinking of urine is quite acceptable. You know what's gross? The time when he's cutting his arm with that dull knife. He forgot his Swiss knife when he was about to leave his house. Crazy man. hahaha.

James Franco as Aron Ralston:

And the real Aron Ralston:

I am 'vomity' while watching this, who wouldn't? But I really am inspired by his unstopping attempts to get himself free from that boulder. The movie was still like an actual footage (e.g. Paranormal Activity) but it's very heart-racing because you can't think of what would happen next.

Plus, do you remember Fleur Delacour?

Yes, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's Fleur Delacour and now known as Mrs. Bill Weasley. She played the role Rana, Aron's ex-girlfriend which happens to have been his wife after three years (the one Aron's been dreaming about when he was stucked).

This movie really inspired me no matter how gross those situations are. Anyway, who wouldn't do that if you're desperate enough?

The part that I really cried is when he's saying a message to his family, especially when he said to his mother: "I wish I had returned your calls..." Parents really are the first thing you would remember when you are in any form of danger. They are the ones who led us to understand survival and they will always be the one to teach us how to continually survive, no matter how old we are.

And no matter how much trauma Aron Ralston must have experienced, he continued to be climber even though he's only got one hand left, it's never a nuisance for him.

Never Let Me Go.

One month ago, I was browsing Fox Searchlight's channel on Youtube. Apparently, I'm looking for Black Swan but this caught my attention:

The title of the movie is Never Let Me Go. I searched about it on Google because I found the trailer interesting and I am right about that perception.
"Never Let Me Go is a 2010 British dystopian drama film based on Kazuo Ishiguro's 2005 novel of the same name. The film was directed by Mark Romanek from  screenplay written by Alex Garland. It stars Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightly, and Andrew Garfield. Never Let Me Gocenters on Kathy, Ruth, and Tommy, played respectively by Mulligan, Knightley, and Garfield, who become entangled in a love triangle and are scientific specimens, created in a laboratory and raised in order to provide their organs to severely ill patients."

This was of course, first shown in North America and Europe. And I heard that it received positive reviews from critics. As for the Philippines, it will be shown on March 2 but I don't know if it's nationwide.

My bestfriend, Aline, told me it was not my type of movie. Well, I really don't like scientific movies with those people experimenting on people. But this movie is quite different. It has its story that's not much focused on Science. There's love story and drama and holding on. That's why I bet I would do anything to be able to watch this movie. For it has this classic effect on it that will surely move anyone who'll watch it.

Who's not proud to be a Filipino?

We have Manny Pacquiao, Charice, Lea Salonga and plenty of Filipino artists who have been great and popular international stars. And all these add up pride in every Filipino around the globe. I would like to share this to you:

Ten-year old Maria Aragon sang Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' which captured the artist's attention. Said she made her day because she's been having a bad day.

This girl is very humble saying, "She's like up there and I was like down here." Most kids would probably brag about their achievements. And I should say Maria has a powerful voice for a ten-year-old child. Captures me, definitely. I'm already 15 years old and I cannot sing that good.

I do hope other Filipinos out there would set this kid as an example: Be proud about your talent but not BRAG about it.

Now, who's not proud to be a Filipino when you have someone like her?

Asia's got 13-ed.

We all love Taylor Swift, who does not? And of course, Asians super love Taylor Swift. That's why people got all hyped up when they knew T. Swift's comin' to Asia for her concert tour! And I know all Asians will be proud because this gal got a February video blog for all of us.

She's so energetic even though it was so tiring to do concerts like that. What's funnier is she loves cutting hair. Cute. Anyway, I do think people enjoyed her concert. Especially here in the Philippines. She's got loads of fans here and you can here almost everyone singing most of her songs starting from her very first single, Love Story <3 Yay!

And that's how Asia's got 13-ed.

Adam Young's ENCHANTED.

I've got no idea that Taylor Swift's Enchanted was about Adam Young, until I found this:

This was Adam Young's response to T. Swift's song. Sweet.

Three sweet things about the lyrics of this song that Adam quite reversed are:

1. "Oh Taylor, I was enchanted to meet you too."
2. "Taylor I'll spend my whole life wondering if you knew I was enchanted to meet you too."
3.  And the most sweetest of all is this: "I was never in love with someone else. I never had somebody waiting on me. 'Cause you were all of my dreams come true. And I just wish you knew, Taylor I was so IN LOVE with you too."

Aw, there you go. Adam Young is just so sweet to have done that.I hope Taylor has heard about the song. Bet she's too busy today. But she should hear that. It was one of the sweetest thing in this world. <3 Love. Love. Love. Hahaha. All I can say is it's SWEET.

I was enchanted to meet YOU.

"May isang tao, ang ganda ng ngiti niya. Kaya simula non tumibok na uli yung puso ko" Hahahaha. I keep repeating this yesterday. I actually made it up. Excerpted some from Christian's line in Mara Clara. Well, I was just this girl yesterday who's be-damned because of somebody who smiles so sweetly. I look like a fool all the way home because of him. You know, somebody who's smiling to herself because she can't forget that 10 or 20 second encounter. Ahhhhh! I think I'm in love :p

And because of that, this song is for him:

"This is me praying that, this was the very first page, not where the storyline ends. My thoughts will echo your name until I see you again. These are the words I held back as I was leaving too soon, I was ENCHANTED to meet YOU."

And the most important part of this song that was my actual line for that individual is:
"Please don't be in love with someone else. Please don't have somebody waiting on you."

This was the first time I actually say a long thing about him. Honestly, I've been holding back my feelings since August. And now, I'm glad to have it burst out. Only, I think he's embarrassed about that -_- Nevertheless, I'm just glad to have my heart beating again.

'MLR' will be the beat of my heart until I really found someone for me. But I do hope it would be him. Why? Because he has the warmest and sweetest smile in this world.

Aw, I'm exxage na! LOLs. I hope this doesn't embarrass him if ever other people saw this. Thus, I'm just expressing feelings.

Silly Love Songs by GLEE :p

GLEE's Valentine episode which is titled 'Silly Love Songs' is one of my favorite episode of Season 2 next to the Sue Sylvester Super Bowl Shuffle. And once again, Darren Criss made it super 'kilig' even more with this ending song. Yaaaayyyy!

'I loooooove yoouuuuu (I looo-oh-oh-ve).' The song was very cute and romantic. Such a perfect Valentine song. And my favorite line of the song is: 'Love doesn't come in a minute. Sometimes it doesn't come at all..." Perfect! <3 I hope y'all loved this episode, too.

Love Gone Mad by Stars Go Dim

I'm this kind of person who often tune in to the radio and listen to new/indie songs from American bands. I'm not much of a listener to indie Pinoy bands but I love Maryzark :) Well, I've got this song from a radio station called Edge Fm (90.3) It's from an American pop rock band called Stars Go Dim.

The title of the song is Love Gone Mad. Well, it's about break up. But y'all know that i'm a certified NBSB. Hahaha. Anyway, I've known this song since I was first year. And my classmate, Cydrick, like this one too. He played it this afternoon so I remembered it again and it's a real big deal. Yay!

I do hope you love it. It's quite an emotional song, but it's very heartwarming when you feel all alone and broken. Witsss.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix :)

I'm a big Harry Potter fan. But really, I've only read two books from the novel, the sixth and the seventh installment. I was so young when I first watched Harry Potter 1 and all I know is that it is a dazzling movies so I continued watching every series. And actually, I'm a lazy reader before. Luckily, my friend Mary Anne lend me her copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

It's so large and heavy that I have to sit all the time to read it properly! But, it's worth it. I mean, the book is really cool and adventurous. JK Rowling never fail to awe me.

I'm sort of touched when Harry saw Sirius in Grimmauld Place. How he missed his godfather! Plus, the ministry trip and everything it took Harry to get back to Hogwarts. Fortunately, he's been 'cleared of all charges' and he's happy that he'll be back to his favorite place.

Meanwhile, the ministry is interfering and of course, Professor Umbridge is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. I keep imagining her face described as 'toadlike' Hahaha.

The Umbridge from the book:

The Umbridge in the movie: (Who d'ya think's better?)

The bigger part of the book for me is of course, the Dumbledore's Army. Hermione's got big brains, really.

Honestly, I was quite disappointed when I learned that it's Cho Chang's friend, Marietta, who  told Umbridge about the secret organization. They changed it in the movie, it's Cho Chang who said it to her. Well, they made it a point to make Cho look like a stupid girl. Ugh! Well, I'm a Harry-Cho fan. Hahaha. That's why I react like this.

I know that Harry will end up with Ginny Weasley. But still I hope it would be the other way. If not Cho Chang, Luna Lovegood is way better.

Well, I know we can't change that fact. So, let's just endure the 5 months more for the upcoming Part 2 of the 7th installment of the movie. Ahhhhh!

I practically grew up with this movie/series. It's part of my life. And it's a good feeling to know that I became older and wiser with its cast. I'll never regret loving Harry Potter :)

Mara Clara: From Youngsters to Hotsters :p

Everybody is really Mara Clara addicted. When it first started on October 28, 2010... well, I never really care about it. But when my classmates started buzzing about it, i guess you already know what happened to me. Hehehe.

John Vladimir Manalo:

The chubby cutie. Hahaha

Turned out to be one of the hottest guy in showbiz. Gwapoooo! (I think, my friend CZAM likes him) Yay!

Julia Montes:

Originally known as 'Mara Montes' (the one in the nurse's uniform)

Now, one of ABS-CBN's celebrated beauty.

Allan Benedict 'Albie' Lee Casiño:

From this debut look with bangs and stuffs,

To this handsome piece of Earth. Yay!

And of course, the new Primetime princess, Kathryn  Chandria Bernardo:

Cute and lively as ever,

Transformed as a simple, yet irresistable dazzling teen...

And the four of them in this Bench billboard in Manila (i dunno where 'coz i don't live there.)

What i like about Mara Clara is the modernized yet unaltered plot. It's the same story but the good thing is they didn't change much. And I should say the love story of Mara and Christian is not just an ordinary teen flick one. They express their true feelings instead of other stories with the 'pa-keme' effect.

And actually, Albie and Kathryn have chemistry. Yay! I hope they would be for real in the coming years. Well, i do know that they're too young (blah blah blah) That's why i said in the coming year.. hahaha

Sooooo that's it.. keep watching Mara Clara and I'm sure the story is getting bigger and better. I really hope that the show would continue until their high school graduation. And i hope that Mara and Christian will have dates during their upcoming summer. Hahaha.

P.S. Credits to picture owners!

Number The Stars

Been a long time since I last blogged. But anyway, i'm back. One week without facing my laptop, so I've got my nose on books. I missed reading. Hahaha. And this book really captivated me:

Ten-year-old Annemarie Johansen and her bestfriend Ellen Rose often think about the life before the war. But it's now 1943 and their life in Copenhagen is filled with school, food shortages, and the Nazi soldiers marching in their town.
The Nazis won't stop. The Jews of Denmark are being "relocated", so Ellen moves in with the Johansens and pretends to be part of the family.
Then Annemarie is asked to go on a dangerous mission. Somehow she must find the strength and courage to save he bestfriend's life. There's not turning back now.
I discovered this book from my friend, Lea, who happens to be a girl who has the best taste of books ever. She told that it was a fascinating story and of course, it's true.

It's composed of a hundred-sixty plus pages and was published in 1989. Old book, yes... but captivating. For a person like me who loves world history, mainly, the second world war... I wouldn't be able to resist this one. And really, you wouldn't regret reading it.

The Johansens have plenty of excuses to help avoid the Nazi soldiers of getting the Jews. And I was terribly shocked by how bad those Germans are. Tsk tsk tsk. People in Denmark have to shut their lights out during the night and have those dark curtains to cover their house. What's even worse is the Danes only get scarce amount of food while the Nazis enjoy meat, bread and butter.

Anyway, my favorite chapter here is: Is the weather good for fishing? I really didn't understand what that meant until I realized that the Danes have a little space under their boats in Gilleleje where they hide the Jews and make it seem like there are only fishes in the boat. And to keep away the human-smelling dogs, they've got this chemical placed on a handkerchief that immobilizes the dog's sense of smell.

I think i'm spoiling it for you. So i have to stop here (my favorite quotation from the book):
"... it is much easier to be brave if you do not know everything. And so your Mama does not know everything. Neither do I. We know only what we need to know." --Uncle Henrik to Annemarie.
Annemarie is such a brave girl for an age like that.  This book is highly-recommended. It's 1990 Newberry Award Medal Winner. A really classic masterpiece.

BRB BLOG :(

Due to different circumstances... i won't be blogging for a while. I'm so sad abut that. Anyway, i'll be leaving this one to you :)

That's my favorite Dalton Warblers' performance. But i do hope KURT would be singing more solos. Please?!

See you soon! Gonna miss my blogspot.

I promise not to sleep late...

Last Sunday, I promised myself not to sleep late. Well, I really hope I could do that. We don't have television in our home. And I love watching Mara Clara on ABS-CBN.

See, it's their real switch tonight and I just can't let that go! But I guess it's not yet finished so it's taking too long for the uploaders to upload it. I'm getting quite impatient... *Peace* But what could I do anyway. Guess I'll just endure my excitement. Whew!

Silly Love Songs PREVIEW!

I'm definitely excited for the upcoming episode of GLEE. All these songs are so fit for Valentine's. Gosh, Rachel's voice is very powerful in that Firework cover. And Silly Love Songs is one sweet thing. I'm loving more of the Warblers! yay! I can't wait. This would complete my Valentine's. Though, I don't really celebrate it... I just jam with the others. Hahaha.

GLEE: The Sue Sylvester Bowl Shuffle aka THRILLER!

I was so hyped two weeks ago when I heard about what would GLEE perform for Episode 11.  I really love 'Need You Now' by Lady Antebellum and I thought Finn and Rachel would sing it, but, it happens to be Puck and Rachel. Well, I was not impressed about that at first but when I heard the preview... I've got my LSS :) hahaha. Plus, the whole "Thriller/Heads Will Roll" business got me even more excited.

Here's the preview:

And the show proper...

Coach Beiste is such a sweet lady. I think she have done one of the most wonderful ideas ever. That's combining GLEE club and Football. And she's even cute while singing along with 'Need You Now'

Though, this one made me wanna punch those Football guys:

Artie's my first GLEE crush. Hahaha.
Source: ScreenCrave.com
My mood's been lifted up because of this very sweet Puckleberry performance although it's part of Rachel's "Make Finn Jealous" plan :) yay!

At first, i think She's Not There was quite lame but when I watched the performance... the Football team is really cute. Hahaha. Especially, the black guy. I dunno his name but he's the cutest of them all! I can't find any picture of their performance, so I just placed this one :)

Source: ScreenCrave.com

Of course, the Dalton Warblers electrified me once again. Blaine, you're my HEART! But i think, Kurt should sing more solo.

And now, WHO WOULDN'T LOVE THE FOOTBALL GAME? Especially, the HALF TIME?!

Artie's voice is a rock! I love it. Finn's good at the bridge part. And cheers for Santana, I loved it when she sings the line: "Heads will roll! Heads will roll!" It creates a heartbeat effect. I would've listen to this all day. The choreography is very well-performed. And of course, i'm so proud being a FILIPINO because Mr. Schue said something about the Cebu inmates performing Thriller. That's heart-warming. Thank you! Yay!

I bet Sue's kinda sued up tonight for not making it through the Regional Cheerleading Competition and for being "Loser of the Year".

All in all, i did enjoy this episode. It's the longest, i guess, it run for 48 minutes or so if I'm not mistaken. But you know, I was disappointed about the ending. I mean, Finn and Quinn are so last year. And I think Quinn is way better with Sam. That's just an opinion.

I guess, you're craving for the upcoming episode this Wednesday... Here's a preview for you:

GLEE Season 2 Episode 12 "Silly Love Songs"

P.S: I PLEAD TO YOU, RYAN MURPHY, GET FINCHEL BACK.
